OMG I'm not dead! lol yeah I've really been neglecting this site ever since I started my last year of college. To tell the truth I think I've pretty much lost interests in dollz at this point, although I'm not saying that I'll ever do them again. I've just started to have some other hobbies and real life / school work is taking up a lot of my time. [more ]

Happy Birthday Ninique's Minidollz!!! Yes, my site is turning 5 years old today . As a present, I've added a new sub-section to the tutorials: Web! It's got some layout tutorials and tips for your doll website. (well there's only 3 for now. . .more to come a bit later).

Also, I've reached the target number of 15 entries in my contest. You can still send in your entry if you haven't had time to enter yet. The deadline will be August 15 2007. [more ]

I've added all the contest entries up to date. Had a little trouble with file permissions but it's all fixed. Uhm. . .yeah that's it. Keep those entries comming!

I just migrated from Windows to Linux a couple of weeks ago, and thereby had to change my dolling program from MSPaint to Kolourpaint. I quite like it, it has all the features of Paint, including my beloved curve tool, and a few added bonuses, such as unlimited undo/redo and png transparency. It's kind of weird to use at first though, because the tools aren't in the same places, and the mouse cursor doesn't change depending on what tool you're using, but I'll get used to it.

So the three dollz I just made were all made or partially made in Kolourpaint (actually, the TG portrait is the only one that's entirely made in it, the other two, I started while I was still under windows. Because of this png transparency business, I decided to convert all my dollz to png, so they can all be in the same format. [more ]
